Name: Meril Itatsu

Personality Traits: Mute, Timid, Awkward, Cowardly

Background: Meril was a curse on the world, killing and destroying everything in her path, just because she deemed it inferior and unfit to live. She burned down homes, murdered entire towns of people and caused chaos through a huge chunk of the continent. She had to be stopped.  A group banded together, the strongest warriors and mages they could muster, and set out to rid the world of her. Backing her into a cave and after a bloody battle with casualties on the heroes side, they couldn't kill her, but instead sealed her away inside a magical crystal where she stayed for hundreds of years untouched.

Many years later though, she was discovered by two adventurers (Blizz and Boone) and set free. She doesn't remember her past from before going into the crystal, and is shy and frail, not really understanding the powers she wields and is completely the opposite to her destructive past self. Occasionally though, she has flashbacks to this time, visions of blood, murder and chaos, which can cause her to fire off her powers uncontrollably, and also make her more confident and angry, the more they reveal....

Abilities/Combat: Meril wields incredibly powerful magic, despite her unassuming appearance. She has the ability to conjure elements to attack enemies, throwing fireballs, freezing enemies, knocking them back with water, and any other combination at her disposal.  Her power is limited in that she can only cast a few spells before she has to wait for the staff to recharge, which can take minutes or even days, depending on the power of the spells used.

Likes: Glowing things, Nature, seeing new things and learning

Hates: The darkness but really almost nothing, at first anyways....
